Taking the first step toward therapy isn't easy, and the fact that you're here tells me you're looking for something different. Whether you're feeling anxious, overwhelmed, stuck, or simply exhausted from holding it all together, you don't have to navigate it alone.
You may not know exactly what needs to change. You just know you can't keep living this way.
Therapy is an opportunity to slow down, gain insight, and better understand the patterns that may be keeping you stuck. Together, we'll explore what's getting in the way, build healthier ways of coping, and help you reconnect with the life you want to live.
Finding the right therapist is important. A strong therapeutic relationship is one of the most meaningful predictors of successful therapy, which is why I offer a consultation. It's an opportunity for us to connect, discuss what brings you to therapy, answer any questions you may have, and determine whether we're a good fit for working together.
I'd be honored to be part of your healing journey.
During your consultation:
Finding the right therapist matters. Healing happens when you feel genuinely seen, heard, and supported, while also being challenged to grow.
I work with adults navigating trauma, anxiety, relationship patterns, and the life transitions that can leave you wondering, who am I now, and what do I want the next chapter of my life to look like?
I also have a particular interest in women's issues, including the emotional and psychological changes that can accompany perimenopause and menopause, while continuing to work with men and women experiencing trauma, anxiety, loss, identity shifts, and other significant life changes.
With more than 16 years of experience, my approach is warm, direct, collaborative, and trauma informed. I integrate EMDR, CBT, mindfulness, and practical coping skills, but I believe the relationship we build is just as important as the tools we use.
I won't simply sit back and nod. I'll listen, ask questions, offer perspective, and challenge you when it may help you see yourself or your patterns differently.
Therapy isn't about erasing your past. It's about understanding what still carries weight, healing what needs attention, and deciding how you want to move forward.
