Trauma isn’t defined only by what happened to you. It’s also about how your mind and body adapted to survive it.
You may feel constantly on edge, emotionally numb, overwhelmed, disconnected from yourself, or trapped in patterns that no longer serve you. Even when life appears “fine” on the outside, your nervous system may still be carrying the weight of experiences
that never had the opportunity to heal.
Trauma can result from a single overwhelming event such as an accident, abuse, violence, or a significant loss. It can also develop through ongoing experiences like childhood emotional neglect, chronic stress, difficult relationships, or growing up in an environment where you didn’t feel emotionally or physically safe.
Whatever your story, your experiences matter, and your responses make sense.
Healing does not mean forgetting what happened. It means reducing the grip those experiences have on your present life so you can respond with greater freedom,
confidence, and connection.
Together, we’ll move at a pace that feels safe, helping you process painful experiences, develop practical coping skills, and reconnect with the parts of yourself that trauma may have overshadowed. You don’t have to continue living in survival mode. Healing is possible, and you don’t have to navigate it alone.

Being a woman can come with layers of expectation, responsibility, change, and pressure that are not always easy to name. You may be navigating relationships, caregiving, parenting, career demands, changing identity, aging, grief, body image, or the feeling that you have spent so much time taking care of everyone else that you are no longer quite sure what you need.
Perimenopause and menopause can add another layer. Hormonal changes during this stage of life can coincide with shifts in mood, anxiety, irritability, sleep, concentration, confidence, energy, relationships, and the way you experience your own body. For some women, emotions that once felt manageable suddenly feel much closer to the surface. Others find themselves questioning who they are, what they want, and what they are no longer willing to tolerate.
Therapy can provide a place to make sense of these changes without minimizing them or assuming everything is “just hormones.”
In our work together, we can explore the emotional, relational, and psychological impact of perimenopause and menopause while also looking at the bigger picture of your life. That may include long-standing patterns, trauma, boundaries, relationships, self-worth, identity, stress, grief, or the expectations you have carried for years.
You do not have to become a different version of yourself. Sometimes this season is an invitation to understand yourself more deeply, reconnect with what matters, and decide how you want the next chapter of your life to look.
This stage of life can be disruptive, but it can also be clarifying and empowering. Therapy offers space to understand what is happening, develop practical tools for managing it, and explore what you want moving forward.
Feeling overwhelmed, exhausted,
or like you’ve lost yourself?
Anxiety and depression can affect every part of your life, making it difficult to enjoy the things you once loved, connect with others, or simply get through the day.
You may find yourself constantly worrying, overthinking, feeling emotionally drained, struggling to concentrate, or wondering why everything feels so much harder than it used to.
If this sounds familiar, you are not alone. Anxiety and depression are among the most common mental health challenges, and they are highly treatable with the right support.
Through secure telehealth counseling, I help adults throughout Idaho better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and nervous system.
Together, we’ll explore the patterns contributing to your distress, develop
practical coping skills and build emotional resilience using evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other trauma-informed interventions.
My goal isn’t simply to help you manage symptoms. It’s to help you understand yourself more deeply, respond to life’s challenges with greater confidence, and reconnect with
the parts of yourself that may have felt
lost along the way.
You don’t have to navigate anxiety or depression alone. Healing is possible, and lasting change begins with one conversation.

Therapy should fit into your life, not add more stress to it.
Telehealth allows you to meet with your therapist from the comfort, privacy, and convenience of your own home, office, or any confidential location with a secure internet connection. All you need is a computer, tablet, or smartphone with video capability.
I provide secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth counseling to adults throughout Idaho using a confidential video platform designed to protect your privacy and personal information.
Research has shown that telehealth can be just as effective as in-person therapy for many mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, and substance use.
Many clients appreciate the flexibility of online therapy. It eliminates travel time, makes scheduling easier, and allows you to engage in therapy from a space where you feel comfortable and at ease.
Whether you’re seeking support for trauma, anxiety, depression, addiction, or personal growth, you’ll receive the same compassionate, individualized care through telehealth as you would in a traditional office setting. Healing can begin wherever you are.

I believe accessing quality mental health care should be as straightforward as possible. As a courtesy, I will bill your insurance company directly when I am in network. If I am not contracted with your insurance plan, I can provide a superbill for you to submit for possible out-of-network reimbursement.
While I am happy to assist with insurance billing, please note that you are ultimately responsible for any balance not covered by your insurance plan.
If you do not want to use insurance, I'm happy to discuss a cash pay rate.
Insurance Plans Accepted
I currently accept many insurance plans, including:
I also accept select Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs).
Because insurance benefits vary by plan, I encourage you to contact your insurance provider before your first appointment to verify your mental health benefits.
Questions to Ask Your Insurance Provider
To better understand your coverage, consider asking:
Many insurance plans cover telehealth services at the same rate as in-person therapy, and some cover telehealth at 100%. Coverage varies by plan, so it’s always best to verify your individual benefits.
Payment Options
Payment is due at the time of service.
For your convenience, I accept:
If you have questions about insurance, payment, or using out-of-network benefits, I’m happy to help you understand your options before your first appointment.
Choosing therapy is an investment in your well-being, relationships, and future. While financial considerations are important, many clients find that the skills and insight they gain through therapy continue to benefit them long after treatment has ended.
